The Bank of Cyprus UK approached Boyall Graphics and Print Ltd after having been bought by Cynergy Capital Limited. In a short space of time the bank was to undergo a total re brand and this included signage on all UK buildings. The design objective was to create technologically forward looking external signage that supported the concept of a dynamic bank embracing technology whilst respecting its Cypriot heritage.
Boyall Graphics proposed combining a number of sign creation techniques that would result in a supremely unique and high quality finish being presented on the high street. Creating stainless steel 3D letters, unusually, instead of powder coating the letters, we coated them in a two pack epoxy resin to ensure exact Pantone matching with a high street superior finish and then incorporating a rim less return design on the main logo panel with total ‘edge to edge’ illumination. But that wasn’t the end of the story.
The two part, two colour square logo (above image) was made by creating a specialised lamination of printed pantone colour's and material layers into a 13mm thick panel thus achieving UV stability against fading, full edge-to-edge rim less illumination and total Pantone colour accuracy both illuminated and non-illuminated, no mean feat particularly for the vibrant teal colour in the logo. Once made, warm LED lighting was inserted into the rear facing compartment of the logo to provide a warm backlit halo effect whilst brilliant white LED lighting was installed into the forward facing compartment to provide a clean and classy professional presentation to the front. Along with all ancillary signage, ten of these external signs were installed over three days in inclement weather to achieve the tight deadline.
Matrix Contra Vision Window Graphics. Matrix window graphics on Contra Vision. Easy to find with great marketing. Helping people find your premises on moulton park as well as a great impression. No window is the same that's why Boyall Graphics takes the extra time to think ahead and measure each panel bespoke to each pain of glass. What may look identical often isn't so we make a habit of measuring twice and cutting once.
Holland Build Construction; updated their premises requiring a new signage. Using their existing logo they wanted more presence from a sign that was too small and not visible from a distance. With a high end specialist client base in construction the sign needed to look and follow their heritage. Using brushed aluminium dibond, the letters were CNC routed and applied using standoff's to give a drop shadow to enhance at all viewing angles.
Holland Build St Edmunds Hospital Northampton.
Holland Build's latest project, the redevelopment of the St Edmunds hospital project in Northampton. With a strong brand design the printed construction hoarding needed to present the company with impact but remain fluid in its presentation. Much time was spent matching the custom red and the hoarding to achieve this. Cleverly the majority of the hoarding was decorated in custom red whilst the digital print onto the foamex was erected on the top of the hoarding for great visibility and long term durability. Its a good example of balancing costs for the client as the digital print is actually a very low surface area expanse whilst the hoarding itself takes on the main branded area in the custom red.
Classic Dispense Courtyard Sign. Wanting a high end finish to their fully working pub with a sign that reflected the company image whilst retaining a country pub feel. It needed to have a metal style finish that could be seen through the design and that was easy to erect. To achieve this we designed a sign that was digitally printed on our virtu then CNC fabricated to include fixings routed into the design post digital print. This reduced costs and provided an easy fixing solution that also looked really good. Brushed composite dibond was printed direct to surface allowing the main letters to have no colour leaving the natural brass effect of the material to show through. A box section was CNC routed at the rear and folded to reveal fixing holes pre-drilled
Why choose us? Having a CNC router in house to cut digital print expands the service to our customers with faster turn around times. High quality and low cost of routing means we can eliminate time consuming de burring and sanding when it comes to metals and plastic cut profile. External signs for the high street are printed on the polytype flat bed and routed within minutes of being printed.
